Love is CERTAINLY in the Air!

Ok so I didn't think this would ever happen....but I've joined Blogspot! Inform the media! Call the Press!....don't faint Liz!
I just enjoy reading my sister and friend Kyrsten's so much that I decided to jump on the bandwagon. Yup, it's true, I'm a follower.
I've thought about starting one before but I just feel like you have to be this amazingly clever and witty person who has great stories to tell and amazing things happen to them all the time. Well, I sure don't but here ya go anyway!
I had the most wonderful Valentine's Day. I think it's so funny how we always tell ourselves, "well I'm not really a big Valentine's Day person" but let's face it...we love the attention and thoughtfulness, and let me tell you my husband is great when it comes to that sort of thing. I think I lucked out and married one of the most romantic men out there. I must be livin' right! I had a bunch of errands to run so I was out for a good part of the afternoon and when I came home I found a note on the door that read: "Please text to enter". So I text him telling him I was home and waiting at the door for him to come let me in. He opens the door to our little apartment and the entire living room/kitchen ceiling is covered in red, pink and white streamers. He had also set up the table with red candles, flowers, little clear pebbles, and chocolates! I read my cute little "wife" valentine's day card (I've only been married for 2 months so I get a kick out of little things like that) and opened my new Norah Jones CD that I've been desperately wanting. Then we moved into the living room where Mike had set up a little work station. He had bought little glass wooden boxes that we were supposed to paint/decorate. Oh wait, I also can't forget about the Valentine's Day tattoos as well. I thought it was sooo cute. So we painted our boxes, I made dinner and then we commenced our weekly LOST ritual. Can't miss an episode!
So there you have it. My V-Day in a nutshell. What a wonderful day....especially for someone who considers herself not to be so much into the holiday!
